Traditional music, with the dance, is deeply set in Irish culture and even young boys know and appreciate many songs and they are amused to dance them in pubs. Among the most famous bands who play Irish traditional music there are:

is perhaps still more famous than the Dubliners, specially in foreign countries, having also collaborated to numerous movie soundtracks among which Barry Lindon directed by Stanley Kubrick. Their most famous album is probably Irish Heartbeat with Van Morrison. |
